Known for delivering on what he sets his mind on, Aryan Davachi is a pure entrepreneur who is considered an innovative thinker with a wealth of experience in business development, product marketing and sales. Aryan received his BS from San Jose State University in MIS (Management Information System) before beginning pursuit of a law degree. While in law school, Aryan realized that his true passion was in sales and being an entrepreneur.
He first discovered his entrepreneurial spirit in 2002 while working in the home furnishings industry. By working closely with numerous top-tier interior designers and leveraging his business development, project management and sales skills, Aryan quickly learned the value he can provide in helping the interior design community grow their businesses. Subsequently in 2010, Aryan launched one of his first ventures, The Rug Finder, changing the way the interior design community sourced rugs and incorporated them into their projects. The Rug Finder’s business model was ultra-lean in terms of overhead (a decentralized inventory model optimized product assortment while minimizing carrying costs), and instead focused on providing unparalleled service via in-person, online and mobile platforms. This allowed Aryan to further leverage his outstanding reputation in the design industry and become recognized as a pioneer in service-oriented B2B solutions. Aryan was able to establish The Rug Finder as a profitable business by the second month of operation, and the company continues to thrive today.
Aryan’s expertise in interior home design and furnishings goes hand in hand with his passion for residential real estate, a sector he ventured into at an early age by buying, selling and renting properties in Silicon Valley. This combination of cross-industry experiences has helped him gain a vast amount of knowledge in particular with home furnishings industry.
Aryan has also played a large role in developing San Jose State’s University entrepreneurship program, helping students secure jobs and develop their business ideas, as well as being an active supporter of school-wide programs including SpartUps, SJSU’s growing entrepreneurial and startup organization.
