Jermaine Deckard

Jermaine Deckard is an Interior Design student at West Valley College, specializing in retail, hospitality, and entertainment spaces within residential design, with a focus on creating environments that foster emotional connections and meaningful experiences. He is particularly passionate about understanding how design influences feelings, often exploring wineries, coffee shops and museums to observe how atmosphere shapes customer experiences. His design philosophy and passion are to blend storytelling, ancient history, film and fantasy, crafting immersive environments that resonate with clients on a deeper, personal level. As the Student Representative to the Board for the ASID Peninsula Chapter, Jermaine is passionate about contributing to the growth of the profession by creating innovative and thoughtful designs in every space.
