Candidate Statement

My interest in serving as the Membership Director for the California Peninsula Chapter comes from a strong belief in the power of a connected design community. Over the past six years, and as a new resident of Northern California, I’ve intentionally built a broad network of interior designers, architects, vendors, students, contractors, and builders, and I’ve loved seeing how those relationships lead to meaningful collaboration, stronger project outcomes, and especially the growth of the ASID community. In my experience, our industry does its best work when creative vision and technical expertise come together.

My perspective is also shaped by my experience as a vendor at the 2025 Design Expo. Being part of the event gave me a firsthand look at the incredible value the ASID community provides. The Expo is much more than a showcase—it’s a powerful platform that connects local designers with innovative products, new ideas, and trusted vendors. As Membership Director, I would love to build on that momentum by helping prospective members clearly see the value of ASID and positioning our chapter as the go-to resource for professional growth and connection.

Looking ahead, I’m excited to bring fresh ideas to the board, strengthen connections within our community, and lead member outreach. I’m committed to bringing my energy, my network, and a forward-thinking mindset to the California Peninsula Chapter, helping ensure ASID continues to be a strong and supportive backbone for our local design community.
